Mark Pavlichek majored in journalism and creative writing at U.C. Berkeley where he was selected to study with Pulitzer winner M. Scott Momaday, and PBS’ “Critic At Large,” David Littlejohn. He has been published in Vintage Voices twice, as well as California Writers Club’s West Winds Centennial.

His marketing experience spans 30 years of brand development in the wine industry. He has written press releases, ad copy, promo and sales materials, and those little short stories about how great the wine is you find on the back label!

He is the principal in West County Productions, a PR firm that created the Nature Conservancy’s first national campaign, Gift’s Of The Land; a cross-marketing partnership of fine art and wine featuring endangered species, that has generated nearly $1 million in sales and international press since inception.

Mark’s editing expertise is providing market driven critique, with an emphasis on branding. He pursues his own professional development through Stanford’s continuing education Writers Studio, and is currently working on two novels set in the Bay Area.
